Hey, Missiles!!! We will be having a breakfast food drive for the Touched Twice Clinic from March 9-13. Please help us by bringing in Poptarts, breakfast bars and oatmeal. Again, the food drive will run from March 9-13 but feel free to begin bringing in food at any time. You can drop off all donations to the FRYSC office but please label them with your grade because the grade bringing in the most donations will win an ICE CREAM SUNDAE PARTY!!! SCHS concluded National FFA Week with "Drive Your Tractor to School Day"! 🚜
FFA hosted a community breakfast this morning for local farmers and community partners before the entirety of Rocket Lane headed outside to watch students arrive in style! We are proud of our future agricultural leaders and thankful for the community that pours into them, setting them up for success!

Interested in middle school baseball? Tryouts for the Shelby County Middle School Baseball Team will take place on Feb. 17 & 1 at the Babe Ruth Field at Clear Creek Park. A current KHSAA sports physical is required to tryout. This team will be comprised of students from all 3 Shelby County Middle Schools. Grades 6-8 are welcome to tryout.

Due to cold temperatures & icy parking lots, all SCPS activities have been cancelled for today, 12/15/25. This includes our East Middle Choir concert & all athletic practices. Stay safe & warm this afternoon & evening!
19 Students from East Middle School participated in the 2025 KYA program sponsored by the YMCA. 2 bills from EMS were passed and approved by the YMCA student government. Students also received recognition as Outstanding Speaker & Outstanding Delegate.
